Overview

FILO is a environmentally cautious floss company that makes their floss picks from recycled plastic.

Approach

The name for the product came from the word “filament”. The packaging and identity was designed to represent the idea that FILO’s floss although thin and precise will gently get rid of any unwanted plaque. The decision to package the floss picks in a cylinder came from the problem that many floss pick products have which is the overuse of plastic. By packaging the product with a resealable cylinder it allows to be used as a long term container for floss picks.
